Facilities feel new and comfortable. Great location just around the corner from the train station. It was nice to be able to shower in our rooms and to be unencumbered when headed down to the spa. Breakfast is really a highlight, quite a spread with local foods and western options, including three types of beer, gelato and ice cream. I’m guessing this place is packed during the summers during March it wasn’t crowded especially in the morning.
Offering a spa and wellness center and a restaurant, Art Spa Hotel is a quaint setting just a stone's throw away from Tangweigou Hot Springs Park.

The free hot springs in the Jiaoxi Hot Spring Park and Tangweigou Park are enjoyable. Easy to reach them, right besides with many vendors and convenient stores where can buy some drinks, snacks. Recommend to bring your own towels and shorts. The hotspring is very warm around 40 degree Celsius.

When I booked the hotel because has Japan style onsen in and room and public. The room too small for superior double room but it was single room. Hotel include buffer breakfast and gym at 9 floor. Gym hour from 0900 - 2100. The public onsen from 0700-1100 then from 1500-2300. I requested gym hour open two hour early from 0700-2100. Because the original hour gym is not ideal time for guest to use it. The price for hotel too expensive because the Japan style almost same in Japan but not quite yet but charge same price as it was in Japan. Jiaoxi is onsen town and I believe there should be other hotel cheaper and offer the same service

Easy to go as it's not very far away from Taipei.
Easy to go as it's not very far away from Taipei. I love to go to the nature for holiday. We would take the train to go around for more nature like hiking & night market..... & back to the B&B for the nice spring water at night.
Fantastic experience for all ages. Great half-board buffet selection. Friendly and welcoming staff. The rooms are dated but kept very clean and tidy. The smell of the tatami floors really gives the Japanese relaxing vibe. There are nearby short walks to the waterfall, and within the hotel, plenty of DIY projects, Nintendo Switch, pool and table tennis, traditional music performance and yoga to keep you occupied within the complex.
Location is near downtown Jiaoxi, a short drive away. The public hot springs facilities were great, especially because there was a kids playground slide in a shallow hot springs pool for the kids. The play room for the kids with PS4 racing seats, switch, and games were fun for the kids. The treehouse room was also a hit with the kids. Breakfast and free afternoon snack (in the same restaurant) were both good.
Very central location, 5 min walk to Jiaoxi train station. Many eateries around the hotel. There is a famous bakery just opposite the hotel, always crowded and filled with local tourists buying bread and pastries.
Room is of a decent size, clean, bed is comfortable, and you have your private onsen in the room.
breakfast spread was very limited not many options and don't expect high quality. We stayed for 3 nights of which only 1 day did the staff have the room made up despite up putting up the "please make up room" sign everyday. Small hotel but well located, not too many facilities in the hotel.
great location, close to the station and many food options. great design, very well-maintained, super warm and friendly staff. love love loooove the layout of the room and bed in the dorm, cosy and private. + CAT!!! will defo come back when i’m in jiaoxi again :)
Very good location to go hiking on the Matcha mountain (Wufongchi mountain range)...about 5-10 mins by scooter and also to the main road. And the deep fried food across the road of this hotel is delicious. You can try it. And the staff is friendly and helpful.
You should choose 1 day staying that hotel since it offers a lot of spring SPA. They also has a small waterslides next to SPA zone. It may take you around half-hour to experience with all kinds of SPA service which catches up with your expectations.
Hotel recently opened but more classic style
Grand lobby, great location in a quite and upscale neighbourhood, short walk to the township center
Roms are comfortable and have a balcony as well as a private hot spring, even for the shower
A lot of hot-spring nearby. Very close to convenience store and food vendors. One corner from mall. Has parking space right in front of the hotel. The room is quite big at a very good price.
